TO DEVELOP REGIONAL POLICY & GUIDELINES

In April , the IAB SEA+India launches two new working groups to meet evolving industry needs and requirements.

Each working group is focused on the development of standards, guidelines and policies for the region. These working groups are tasked with putting structure and rigour in place with guidelines that will work across the region in their specialist areas.

BRAND SAFETY

Existing Brand Safety, Ad Fraud, and Viewability standards were traditionally developed in mature markets, and might not account for the complexities of Asian markets. This group will seek to adopt standards which work for the region by assessing existing standards and/or developing its own where necessary.

NEW MEDIA

There is a lot of hype around new advertising channels and technologies, but also a lot of confusion to go with it. This group will focus on making emerging technologies such as AI, AR, Blockchain, and Voice more tangible by developing regional definitions and guidelines and highlighting best practices.
