Wootag wins IAB SG Tech Tuesday #2 Competition


Wootag, not Wu-Tang. Surely we’re not the first to make that joke, but that doesn’t stop us from saying it.Singapore-based, interactive video platform Wootag took home the prize of a mentorship with a member of the IAB Council. On August 30 the IAB Singapore held its second-ever Tech Tuesday event. Every second month, the IAB SG holds an event that gives startups the chance to pitch and connect with Singapore’s most influential tech community. The event was hosted by Miranda Dimopoulos, CEO of the IAB SG and planned by the IAB SG Programmatic Committee Members. Attending Members included:Liam Lucas, Rubicon Project; James Sampson, DataXu; Evgeny Popov, Lotame Benjamin Yeow, Starcom; Gavin Buxton, S4M; Nigel Kwan, Amobee; Jason Barnes, Pubmatic; Gregory Pichot, AppNexus; Shahrul Fahmy, The TradeDesk; Tai Morshed, Tubemogul.Video is everywhere right now and it’s a race to find the best way to use it to truly engage users. Chief Commercial Officer of Wootag, Andrew Spalding, wowed the attendees by showing them a demo of how their platform can reach video audiences further.
