An Industry Leadership Board Creating What the Region Can Trust
Southeast Asia and India will see over USD $35 billion in digital ad spend in 2025, but across markets, the industry still faces fragmented standards, inconsistent practices, and a lack of credible, independent resources designed for this region.
This is where the IAB SEA+India Industry Leadership Board steps in. This is the core leadership group trusted to guide the creation of the resources our region not only uses, but looks to for clarity, confidence, and direction.
The Centre of Our Leadership Model
Each Board member co-leads one of IAB SEA+India’s six Councils or Working Group aligning priorities, guiding collaboration, and ensuring outputs reflect real regional needs.
The 2025 focus areas:
- AI Council
- Retail Media Council
- CTV/OTT Council
- Social Commerce Council
- Measurement Council
- IAB Academy Working Group
Each of these is tasked with delivering a regionally relevant output by Q4; frameworks, tools, and standards the industry will use across Southeast Asia and India and beyond.
Appointed to Inspire the Essential Resources the Industry Trusts
Board nominations more than doubled this year. To ensure a fair and rigorous process, all appointments were made through an independent selection process led by a senior HR consultant. Each Board member was chosen not only for their subject matter expertise, but for their ability to lead the development of essential resources that represent the voice of the digital industry and build trust across markets.
“Each of these leaders already plays an influential role in their own company. What makes this Board stand out is their decision to contribute their expertise and leadership to something bigger to benefit the entire regional digital industry” — Miranda Dimopoulos, CEO, IAB SEA+India
Part of a dual-board structure designed for both direction and delivery
The Industry Leadership Board works in parallel with the Strategic Advisory Board, which sets the IAB SEA+India’s long-term priorities. This structure reflects our commitment to both where the region is going, and what it needs now.
