IAB SEA+India has partnered with Google in a two-part webinar series which will deep dive into the the latest research to raise awareness and share best practices and learnings about key Privacy-related topics you need to know.
In Part One, on 27 September 2022, IAB SEA + India Members get an early look at emerging insights from 3 separate research reports on APAC privacy. These reports offer an in-depth look at the rapidly evolving APAC consumers’ views on privacy issues, and how advertisers and publishers are investing and preparing for a privacy-first future today.
Many reports and insights on Privacy are written from a global lens, but APAC is a very different region made up of many unique markets, each with their own dynamics. For APAC businesses to chart a path forward for themselves, they require regional and local research on what APAC consumers and businesses are thinking on Privacy plus examples of customer success stories from in-region.
This session will cover key insights from 3 research studies recently conducted by Google:
- Consumer-focused research with Ipsos which focuses on consumer attitudes and behaviour when it comes to data privacy ethics.
- Publisher-focused research with Deloitte which covers key insights into APAC publishers’ 1st party data capabilities and strategy.
- Advertiser, Agency, and Publisher-focused BCG research which looks at how marketers and publishers can earn trust and drive performance with the upcoming privacy changes in APAC.
Key Takeaways:
- Insights on the rapidly evolving attitudes/perception from APAC consumers and internet users on Privacy.
- The current state of privacy and 1st party data readiness across APAC businesses with examples and anecdotes on building a privacy ready future.
- Concrete areas where businesses can invest today to begin (or further advance) their own privacy readiness journey.
- Hear from Googlers who were closely involved with the research on their personal perspectives, surprises and lessons learned.
