Meet the voices setting IAB SEA+India’s vision: Introducing the 2025 Strategic Advisory Board.

A Strategic Advisory Board Designed to Set Vision and Strengthen Regional Direction

With over USD $35 billion in digital ad spend projected across Southeast Asia and India this year, the region is growing rapidly, but not always in alignment.

To meet this challenge, IAB SEA+India has formalised a new dual board leadership structure that connects long-term vision with immediate regional advocacy.

Earlier this month, we introduced the 2025 Industry Leadership Board of senior Council Co-Leads responsible for delivering frameworks, tools, and resources the industry can use now.

Now we complete this new dual board structure with the introduction of the 2025 Strategic Advisory Board.

  • Deepika Nikhilender – Chief Solutions Officer & Executive Director  – Programmatic Practice, WPP Media
  • Karl Duffill – Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier Go-To-Market Director, Google
  • Liam McCarten – APAC VP of Sales, StackAdapt
  • Pooja Dhanothia – Director, Head of Asia – Marketing Solutions, LinkedIn
  • Rahul Vasudev – RVP, DoubleVerify Scibids, APAC, DoubleVerify Inc.
  • Sapna Nemani – Chief Solutions Officer APAC, Publicis Groupe APAC
  • Sonal Patel – VP, SEA, The Trade Desk

This leadership team provides long-term guidance on regional digital marketing priorities ensuring the IAB’s priorities remain relevant, future-focused, and grounded in the realities of the seven markets we represent.

Strategic Advisory Board members were appointed through the same structured, independent nomination process as the Industry Leadership Board, led by a senior HR consultant. Nominations more than doubled this year, a reflection of the trust in the IAB’s mission and the calibre of this role.
