As we reach the halfway mark of 2025, there’s a Chinese proverb that feels especially fitting at this moment: 智慧如山,越攀越广 “Wisdom is like a mountain: the more you climb, the more you see.”
Our role is to make this climb easier, by creating space to connect beyond your immediate business, to learn from peers facing the same market realities, and to contribute your experience to solutions the whole industry can use.
It’s the kind of perspective you just can’t get from a ChatGPT response. It comes from real conversations, shared challenges, and being part of a community that’s at the forefront of digital transformation in the region.
Here is a highlight reel of the progress we’ve made together so far this year.
A New Leadership Structure Designed to Deliver
We began 2025 with a leadership reset driven by your feedback and designed to make our collective voice clearer, louder and stronger. Our new dual-board model was introduced to focus our efforts where they matter most: setting strategic direction for the region’s long-term growth while inspiring the conversations, collaborations, and outputs that help members take action now. This approach allows us to meet immediate industry needs without losing momentum on what’s next, ensuring that what we build helps inform and inspire the entire ecosystem, from policymakers and regulators to businesses expanding their digital marketing presence across Southeast Asia and India.

Over 650 Hours of Real Industry Connections
In the first half of 2025, IAB SEA+India created opportunities for over 650 hours of connection, putting our members in the same room as their current and future clients, partners, and peers.
From Council meetings and full-day board kickoffs to Tiffin Time virtual networking and our IAB x WARC Member Discussion on Social Commerce, every touchpoint is designed with intent: to learn from each other, work through shared challenges, and take in perspectives from across the ecosystem often the very spark that shifts how we think, plan, or act.
These moments are more than just calendar invites, they’re a chance to step beyond your day-to-day, hear how others are approaching the same challenges, and return to your role with fresh thinking, broader perspective, and a stronger network. It’s this mix of openness and shared experience that helps our members stay a step ahead.
Raising the Profile of Our Region and Your Company
In the first half of 2025, we’ve helped raise the profile of Southeast Asia and India, and the progressive companies powering its digital economy. As a member, this means your brand is being seen by more of the people who matter: digital marketing decision-makers, regulators, brand leaders, and investors across and beyond the region.
Over 100,000 views across LinkedIn and our website for your company through Member News press releases and Meet Our Members features, this is a lot of brand exposure included in your membership
25% of website traffic now comes from outside the region, particularly the US and EU, as global attention turns to what’s next and who’s leading it
A growing network of 70+ member companies spanning platforms, agencies, digital commerce, publishers, adtech, and streaming
What sets this visibility apart isn’t just the numbers, it’s the context. Your company updates and insights are featured within a trusted industry platform that decision-makers already turn to, amplifying your visibility, extending your reach, and reinforcing your role in the region’s digital growth story.
Supporting You Better
With demand for our work at an all-time high, we’ve brought on Jo Cockle as our new Head of Marketing to strengthen the visibility of IAB SEA+India and our member network which we announced last month. As shared in the previous section, over 100,000 people have already seen our member spotlights this year. If you haven’t tapped into this visibility yet, Jo’s here to help you make it happen.
What’s Coming in H2
The second half of the year is just getting started, but our Councils and Working Groups are already deep in delivery mode. In Q4, you’ll start to see the outputs: practical guides, shared frameworks, and whitepapers co-created to provide the trusted guidance our region needs to move forward.
Before then, we’ll be opening a call for member submissions to be featured in these Council resources. Even if you’re not directly involved as a Council Member, this is a great opportunity to showcase your best-in-class case studies and contribute to our globally consumed content.
While we’ve taken a pause to finalise our marketing strategy, stay tuned for updates on our podcast launch, plus new initiatives and events being shaped by the Strategic Advisory Board.
I’m proud to be making this ascent with you,
Miranda
