what do you love most about working across southeast asia and india?
What I love most about working at Meta Southeast Asia and India is the unmatched speed of innovation and the deep spirit of collaboration with our partners. It’s incredibly energizing to see partners build bold, forward-thinking solutions using Meta’s APIs and technologies like Llama 4.0, harnessing its multimodal capabilities to solve complex business problems. From empowering the creator economy to driving commerce through messaging and creator tools like Meta AI, the creativity on display is truly inspiring. One standout example is the Reels Impact Award, which originated in Southeast Asia and expanded to India this year—garnering over 800 submissions from advertisers, agencies, and creators. It’s a testament to how this region is shaping the future of storytelling and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on our platforms every day.
what’s your favourite thing about being part of the IAB SEA+India member network?
What I love most about being part of the IAB SEA+India member network is the sheer calibre of talent and the shared passion for shaping the industry. Despite everyone’s demanding schedules, the energy in the room is always focused and forward-looking. The commitment to producing timely, relevant content—grounded in 360-degree insights—is inspiring. The depth and quality of the conversations are truly unparalleled, and I feel fortunate to be surrounded by such sharp, thoughtful leaders who are not only experts in their craft but also deeply collaborative.
and finally, some may say, the most important question in our region – what’s your favourite food?
As a vegetarian, I feel lucky to be in a region where fragrant herbs meet fresh, farm-raised vegetables, tofu, and tempeh—making any stir-fried noodle or rice dish an easy go-to. But if I had to pick just one favorite, it would be a thick, buttery kaya toast paired with a cold Milo. It’s a nostalgic, forever winner in my books.
