Singapore, 28 October 2026 — Meta has launched its personal AI agent, Muse, in Singapore, introducing integrations with major consumer platforms including Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com and Lazada.
The launch follows Muse’s global introduction in September 2026 and extends the availability of Meta’s AI agent to Singapore consumers. Unlike conventional AI chatbots that primarily respond to queries, Muse is designed to carry out tasks on behalf of users, including researching products, comparing prices, managing schedules and making travel arrangements.
Through connections with third-party services, users can access shopping, dining and travel services within a conversational interface. For example, Muse can research and compare products on Shopee and Lazada, assist with grocery orders and dining arrangements through Grab, and help users plan travel and explore booking options through Singapore Airlines, Agoda, Klook and Trip.com.
Users can also connect services such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Instagram to manage emails, coordinate schedules and reference saved content. Meta said that integrations with its Singapore partners will be introduced progressively, with some functionality becoming available after the initial launch.
The introduction of Muse also creates another potential channel for brands and commerce platforms to connect with consumers, as AI agents become more involved in product discovery, recommendations and purchasing decisions.
On privacy and security, Meta said Muse operates through a dedicated cloud-based system called Muse Secure VM, which stores data and credentials for connected services while keeping passwords and payment information inaccessible to the AI agent. Users can choose which services to connect and must approve sensitive actions, including sending emails or making purchases.
Nicole Tan, Managing Director of Meta Singapore, said: “Muse is your personal agent, built to help make everyday life easier. We are connecting Muse with some of the most iconic brands in Singapore and the region, so you can get things done with the services you already use and love.”
Muse is available in Singapore on iOS, Android and via muse.ai, with support for AI glasses planned. Meta said most everyday functionality is available free of charge, with paid subscription options for additional capabilities.
